Freedom Lifestyles Archives

I’ve never been involved in politics in my entire life. To me it’s a boring subject, and I’ve always felt that most politicians say what they think we want to hear. Politics are really quite a nasty thing.

The past 4 years have been so disturbing to me that I’ve decided this year to do my part for change. I volunteered today to work in the campaign office for the rest of the time till election.

In the USA I’m totally appalled to see how our country is going to the dogs. There are an awful lot of people out of work. There are people that can’t afford their homes and many more living on the streets. I find it disgraceful that our present administration is sending our tax dollars to counties that totally hate us while ignoring our own country.

It’s time for a TRUE change. I’m going to do my best to work for a big change in the coming years. God help us all if we don’t get these things turned around. I’m praying the good Lord will help us take our once great country back.

Holiday Cards

Holidays are in the air. I can’t believe how fast this year has gone. It will soon be Thanksgiving, followed by Christmas, and then another year.

It’s time to start thinking of your holiday cards, gifts and shopping. This has been a tough year for many. Most likely you want the best value for your money.

I have a cool way you can create holiday cards with photos of your family for less than you’d buy a plain card in the store. In addition for less than $1 per card, plus postage, you can even have the cards stuffed and stamped and mailed for you, saving you time and money.

I’d like to invite you to take a test drive and send a card on me, to experience the system. Just click here to send your card.

If you like the system, I’d like to invite you to see up a customer account so you can add in all your contacts and get ready to send your holiday cards with one click of the mouse. Accounts are FREE. You pay only for the cards and postage. You can keep the system, and store your photos and your address book where you can easily get to it, right online.

You can also add a gift to send with your cards, or create some cool photo books, calendars and even metal prints.

By the way, if you would like to earn added income to pay for your cards and gifts, just ask me to show you how.

I’d like to wish you a very happy holiday season.

An Unexpected Romance

My good friend’s mother wrote a book called “An Unexpected Romance”. It’s a love story for women that are in their 40’s or older. I bought a copy and just finished reading it. I was VERY impressed and would highly recommend this book.

Here is the info from the Amazon site and a brief description:

An Unexpected Romance…
When Mark Crandall returns to Greenville to sell his mother’s home, he leaves his construction business, expecting to be back to work in two weeks. A chance meeting with an old friend leads him to Elizabeth Parker and turns his world, and hers, upside down!
Elizabeth, widowed for two years, finds herself faced with an unexpected attraction to Mark. To add to her stress level, her income as realtor and her retirement funds have been impacted by the downturn in the economy and her oldest son is begging for money to launch his career as a rock star.

… At an Unexpected time.
Frightened and confused by the emotions Mark has awakened, Elizabeth is afraid her attraction to this man is tantamount to being unfaithful. Her deceased husband, Edward, owned over 40 years of her life, and she never imagined she could fall in love again. Has God brought these two together for an unexpected chance at love?

I would highly recommend this book. You can purchase it on Amazon.

Thanks Australia

To Kill an American
You probably missed this in the rush of news, but there was actually a report that someone in Pakistan had published in a newspaper, an offer of a reward to anyone who killed an American, any American.

So an Australian dentist wrote an editorial the following day to let everyone know what an American is . So they would know when they found one. (Good one, mate!!!!)

‘An American is English, or French, or Italian, Irish, German, Spanish , Polish, Russian or Greek. An American may also be Canadian, Mexican, African, Indian, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Australian, Iranian, Asian, or Arab, or Pakistani or Afghan.

An American may also be a Comanche, Cherokee, Osage, Blackfoot, Navaho, Apache, Seminole or one of the many other tribes known as native Americans.

An American is Christian , or he could be Jewish, or Buddhist, or Muslim. In fact, there are more Muslims in America than in Afghanistan . The only difference is that in America they are free to worship as each of them chooses.

An American is also free to believe in no religion.. For that he will answer only to God, not to the government, or to armed thugs claiming to speak for the government and for God.

An American lives in the most prosperous land in the history of the world.
The root of that prosperity can be found in the Declaration of Independence , which recognizes the God given right of each person to the pursuit of happiness.

An American is generous.. Americans have helped out just about every other nation in the world in their time of need, never asking a thing in return.

When Afghanistan was over-run by the Soviet army 20 years ago, Americans came with arms and supplies to enable the people to win back their country!

As of the morning of September 11, Americans had given more than any other nation to the poor in Afghanistan …
The national symbol of America , The Statue of Liberty , welcomes your tired and your poor, the wretched refuse of your teeming shores, the homeless, tempest tossed. These in fact are the people who built America

Some of them were working in the Twin Towers the morning of September 11 , 2001 earning a better life for their families. It’s been told that the World Trade Center victims were from at least 30 different countries, cultures, and first languages, including those that aided and abetted the terrorists.
So you can try to kill an American if you must. Hitler did. So did General Tojo , and Stalin , and Mao Tse-Tung, and other blood-thirsty tyrants in the world.. But, in doing so you would just be killing yourself . Because Americans are not a particular people from a particular place. They are the embodiment of the human spirit of freedom. Everyone who holds to that spirit, everywhere, is an American.

Please keep this going!

Pass this around the World .

Then pass it around again. It says it all, for all of us.

What Are You Thankful For?

Do you ever think about what are YOU thankful for?

I’ve been very thankful for the fact that I have slowly consistently shared Send Out Cards as this is the time in my life when we are at retirement. Retirement normally to most means living on 50% less that you could not have lived on when you were working. Because of SOC, I’ am able to live on my SOC income, as I continue to save the retirement checks my husband receives and build a nest egg. It’s been a blessing.

Here are just a few things I have been able to do because of SOC:
We have been able to donate more money to our church and help be a blessing to others.
We purchased a new car last month for myself and gave my other car with 49,000 miles on it to my son and daughter in law.
We completely remodeled one of our bedrooms, added wood floors in the rooms that still had carpet.
We had some new gutters installed on our home.
We upgraded a bath and a bed room.
We’re doing all the upgrades we ever wanted.
My husband bought a covered trailer to haul his dirt bike.
We’ve taken 2 cruises this year, several other vacations.
We’ve been able to do a lot of traveling both with SOC and to other places of our choice.

Those are a few of the more major things, and all we did and paid for each month. Because of SOC, I am able to enjoy our retirement years and I’m grateful. These are things I’ve done since January this year.

There are 4 months left this year. I have 3 more trips planned, including one to Germany.

All these things are possible because I work and share SOC. I don’t say all this to brag, it’s not my style. I just felt a prompting to share with everyone and give back to others to help them.

Prior to SOC and NWM, we lived paycheck to paycheck. We had no money to do anything. When the car would break down, we would have to go in debt to fix it then work harder to pay off the never ending cycle of debt. It was not fun so I can relate to anyone that is struggling. If you want to get out of that situation, you have to come to the place in your life where you make that decision to do something different.

SOC is a true blessing and I know if I can do this anyone can. It’s so much easier today than when I started. If I can help any one of you in anyway , PLEASE call me. I’m here to help and support you and see that you can reach your goals and dreams no matter what they are.

Network Marketing

Are you looking at Network Marketing? Are you wondering if it works or not? I’ve been in the industry now for over 15 years and very thankful I found it.

When I started I was looking out into the future. I was looking at the days when I would retire, and I knew I could not live on social security, nor was I sure it would even be there for me. Today that’s even more critical than ever. I wanted to see the world and do the things I had not been able to do when I was younger. When I raised my children, I stayed home for a number of years and we sacrificed. We were not rich by any means. I used to watch for sales and do the coupon thing to afford to eat….but we were happy and we never lacked having food or shelter.

Today my children are grown, and neither live in my town. I have 5 grandchildren (3 in college) and 2 younger ones. Because of the sacrifices I made early on and the action I took to build an income in the NWM industry, today I can travel and go when I want to. I can visit my grandchildren and see the world. I always wanted to be able to do that, yet until my daughter was 16 I had NEVER even been ON a plane in my life.

I remember once in the early days before “homeland security” that you could go out to the plane and say goodbye to your relatives. My husbands father had been down for a visit and we took him to fly back home. We were at the gate, and I looked out at the planes. Before they boarded I asked the lady at the counter if I could go down and look at the inside of the plane as I was fascinated. They actually let me do that. Try that one today.

When my children got in school, I went to work and got what my parents taught me early on that “good job”. I worked long and hard for about 15 years but burned out with all the house, I worked and living pay check to paycheck. Today those “good jobs” are few and far between.

I shared all this to say, I am very THANKFUL, that I found the industry of Network Marketing. It is a great industry. Don’t let anyone else tell you different.

Are there scams and bad companies in this industry. Of course, like anything else you have to do your due diligence and find the good ones. They are there. Use common sense and find one. Don’t be lured in with promises of riches for “no work”. It takes work and effort to build, but if you put in the time and do that, you can reach your dreams.

I know for sure that if I can build a business, anyone can. I have no special talents. When I started I was extremely shy and rarely spoke to anyone if I didn’t know them well. Network Marketing has changed my life for the better. You become a different person, much happier.

If you will just help enough people get what they want and support them, you can succeed with them. It’s not about you. It’s all about relationships and sharing with others and helping them have a better life as well.

Must See Movie

I went to see a movie this week. It was one highly recommended by a good friend. Have you ever had a friend recommend you see a movie?

Normally when that happens I would have seen or heard of the movie, but this one was a lot of different. I had NOT heard of it nor seen any commercials. I was surprised by that, but my friend challenged me to go and see this movie and then let me know what I thought.

So I went and I took another friend. After we watched the movie, we both felt this was something EVERYONE needs to see. It answers a lot of questions I’ve had for a few years now, about what’s happening in our world. If you are wondering too, this is a must see movie.

I would highly recommend if you are reading my blog, that you click here for the trailer. Find out where this is playing in your local market and get out to see it right away. Form your own opinion after watching it, but definitely tell others so they can do the same.

It looks like it’s opening on theaters across the country. It was is in the southern market this week. My daughter is in the north and I see it’s opening up there August 24. The name of the movie is 2012 The Movie. Click here for the trailer and locations.

Find a movie theater in your area and go see it. Your freedom may depend on it. It’s time for all all of us to stand up and be counted. Get out and see the movie and let me know what you think.

When people die, their friends and family usually attend their funeral. I’ve never been to a funeral where anyone had anything but good to say about the deceased. They talk about all the good things the person did, how much they loved them and appreciated them. YET….how many of them told that person while they were alive?

How about you? Is there someone special in your life that needs to hear from you? Who do you love? Why not let them know while they are still with you. Tell them you live and appreciate them?

We have a 30 day Gratitude Challenge running. Watch the 3 minute video, think about how you are grateful for, and take our challenge. Do it now. Don’t let another day go by without telling those you love.

Who are you grateful for?

Critical Elements

What do you think the most critical elements are in building your business?  What’s most important to your future?  Ask around and you’ll get many answers.

I believe the  ONLY thing you need to be successful in your business, and  have all the time and money freedom you want; Is simple consistent daily action over time.  Take baby steps, learn and grow little by little.  Take action  and stick around long enough for your business to grow.  Plan on being there 5 years from now.
Sound simple?   It is, however most people will never stick around and be consistent for 5 years.  It’s a shame, but it’s true.
I can guarantee if you take daily actions to grow your business without starting and stoping, or jumping  around from thing to thing thinking the grass is greener on the other side,  YOU WILL SUCCEED.
I truly have LITTLE or NO talents myself.  When I started in this industry years ago, I made tons of mistakes.  The only thing I knew is I would NEVER EVER quit.  I learned the hard way.   I had to  find the right place and take small baby steps and learned  and failed my way along.
I’m not really where I will end up, as I’m not done, however,  I am doing well.  I’m free to do what I want when I want.  I love helping others learn how to achieve their dreams.
I learn and grow each day.  I do know I’ve found my home and I’m here  for the long haul. There is NOTHING in this world that can take me away.    I’m blessed and thankful for all my company has to offer.
Today It’s 7 1/2 years since I started and I’m still building and growing.   I don’t work as hard as I did in the beginning, but  I am free to travel and do the things I want in my time frame.
I’m not limited to what or where I can go and I don’t have to ask so much if I can afford something.  The sad thing is in the time I’ve been building my business, I have seen many people come and go.  Those that go, usually go on to something else, and the  next year they are in a 3rd or 4th company.   I feel bad for them.  I know they still have not learned that the critical element to success is just sticking around long enough to achieve the success and payoff for their hard work and effort.

What Are you Thankful For?

Too often all we hear from people are complaints or whining about what they don’t have.  I’ve learned over the years you get back what you send out.  If you’re always whining and complaining, then you’ll get more problems back.

Instead of complaining, what would happen if you started to give thanks for what you do have?  Ask yourself,  what are you thankful for?
Do you have good health? Do you have any wonderful friends?  Do you have a great family?  Do you have food to eat and clothes to wear?
No matter what your situation is,  if you start to share things that you are grateful for, more good things will come your way.  Try it.
I’m participating in a 30 day gratitude challenge and seeing some amazing results.   If you think you might like to do the same thing, let me know.  I can show you how to participate in sharing this with others.  It will cost you about a dollar a day to send out gratitude to many and join me in this crusade.
If you take me up on the challenge and find after a full 30 days, you don’t see a major impact in your life,  let me know.  I can guarantee you’ll get profound impact, and if not, I’ll give you your $30 back when you show me that you did this challenge for 30 days
Feel free to contact me for more details.  Hope you’re having a remarkable week.
