Are We Really In The Final Year?
Well, looks like we survied another year.
It’s officially 2012! We’ve all survived the first few weeks.
According to the Myan calendar, this is the LAST year . Do you really believe that? Are we really In the final year? I think it just gives people something to talk about.
There are all sorts of theories floating around. One of the latest theories to pop up is also one of the oldest: the Mayan calendar prediction which pinpoints the final day on Earth as Dec. 21, 2012. Scientists argue that the reference on the 1,300-year-old stone tablet marks only the end of a cycle — not the world — ever since the tablet was discovered in the 1960s, conspiracy theorists have wondered otherwise.
I for one truly believe that NO man can predict the day or hour the world as we know it will end. The bible gives clear signs of the “season” but also states that no man can know the exact time, date or hour that our Lord will come again. It also says that we will rule and reign on this very earth for 1,000 years after the return of Christ.
So which do you believe? The mayan calendar or the bible?
Myself, I chose to keep on living each day, day by day and not trying to predict or figure out the future. It will happen in perfect time. Enjoy your days on earth and don’t worry about the future.
Have a wonderful 2012 and beyond!
