Apple Computers

Apple is an example of an amazing company that gives quality service. I moved over to Apple about 9 years ago, and love them.

People ask me all the time how I can justify the cost of a MAC when PC’s are so much cheaper. For one thing, I have a friend that is a PC buff. I’ve wanted him go thru 3 computers and my 2007 IMAC is still working fine.

Also a MAC comes with all the software you need, and will let you open, read, edit and change Microsoft Office documents, powerpoint and excel. I have never had any issue using the documents on my MAC’s.

IF I have anything I want checked, I can go make an appointment at the genius bar and they test out my mac and check it out. They also offer Apple Care, I can call and talk to a tech anytime and they can help me….it’s just rarely I need to call, cause I don’t have many issues.

Having been a Windows user for 20 plus years, before switching to MAC, the hardest thing I had to learn was not to think so hard. Apple makes things simple.

They also do not nickel dime you to death with software costs. Everything you need it built in. When they have a new versions of the operating system, you can easily back up your old version and install the new most of the time FREE of charge.

They are also seamless. I can work on a document on my MAC, and then go to my laptop and pick up where I left off. If I put a contact into my IPHONE, it goes to my MAC, IMAC and IPAD also, so I don’t have to type it in all 4 places.

If you have never used to tried an APPLE computer, before you judge, go visit a MAC store and play around with them. They are pretty amazing. One thing to warn you though, they are ALWAYS busy, day or night, the store has lots of people. Everyone loves to visit and play with all the new gadgets and they encourage that. They also have lots of free classes you can go to, and learn new tips and tricks.

Apple is a innovative and the leading edge of the future. I would recommend them highly.

Customer Service

If you want to have a successful business to most important thing you can do is give excellent customer service. Build relationships with your customers and show them you care.

What to you do in your business to do that? How often do your customers hear from you? By that I mean, do you call, or write them to let them know you appreciate them? If they call in with a complaint to you go above and beyond to resolve it. If not, you may be not only losing customers, but finding your business floundering. It’s much easier to keep a good customer than keep on finding new ones.

There are lots of companies out there waiting to take your customers. Amazon is one, that is doing well because of the way they treat their customers.

Amazon is a huge company that gives excellent customer service. If there is an issue with anything they resolve it on the spot.

Last week I place and order that was going to deliver on Monday, however, when I hit order, I noticed after it processed that one of the items was not going to arrive until Tuesday. The order had processed already.

Tuesday was not acceptable to me cause we would not be around to get a package, so I called in to cancel that item. Instead the customer service rep, suggested she change my entire order to ONE DAY SHIPPING and wave she fee for one day. That mean my entire order would arrive the next day instead of 2 days, still with prime shipping (FREE).

They give EXCELLENT customer service. They are fast, and pay attention to their customers.

If you are a small business that wants to compete with them, You need to stay in touch with you customers, and let them now you care. Give them quality service and they will come back to you and give you referrals. Ignore them, and they will be gone. Just saying….. Customers are KING. Treat them like royalty and your business will grow.

DO IT NO MATTER HOW YOU FEEL!

Sometimes you may not FEEL like making that phone call or prospecting online. There are MANY Times I don’t feel like doing it…but I KNOW if I want to build I must move forward and talk to one more person whether I feel like it or now. Remember, do it no matter how you feel.

My biggest hurdle to get over is learning to move forward no matter who comes along. Sometimes it hurts, when your family thinks you’re nuts, or you care so much
you want to see them have the benefits, but they have tunnel visions and don’t see it.

Cutting lose and moving on is HARD, but you HAVE to do it to get there. There is simply no other way. Where else could you work hard for 4 or 5 years, and make 40-50 years worth of income? Network marketing is a whole new adventure. It’s a business you learn by DOING. There are no shortcuts, or right or wrong way. I’ve learned much more from my mistakes and failures, than from doing it right.

MISTAKES YIKES…..

Don’t be afraid to make mistakes. This business will take an ordinary person and change their lives forever if you give it a chance to happen. I intend to work long and hard for 5 more years, and then travel and enjoy life.

I KNOW if I put in next 5 years building, I will accomplish much more than I would
have it I spent the next 20 in corporate America. I only wish I had started 10 years ago.

I know we have some youngsters on this team, those of you in your late teens and early 20’s are sure fortunate. IF you will focus and spend the time now building, you won’t have to worry if Social Security will survive. You can help them fund it.

So go to work, help other, and tell them the TRUTH. IT is WORK, and it is well worth it. Let’s all go to work and do this business with credibility and do it by helping others. What you do, either good or bad will come back to you.

Tell The Truth

LETS TALK ABOUT BEING REALISTIC and and building a business. That means putting yourself on track to build. Always tell the truth.

If this was a TRADITIONAL brick and mortar business, you’d expect to spend hundreds of thousands in start up, and maybe not even break even for years. NETWORKING is NOT Traditional in that realm, but it DOES take work and effort, and you can NOT expect to be rich in a few months or even a year. It takes longer than that.

As you talk to people be sure to tell the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth. We have a GREAT industry, and a solid future. I believe fully in network marketing and feel those in now, are ahead of the shift to the future world. There is big money in this industry, however, it is NOT money without working or not something that happens over night.
When you talk to people, please tell them the truth. There is simply NO way to create massive tremendous incomes, without some good hard work. They really have 3 options

1. They can do this business part-time by focusing, staying with it and working steadily and eventually get there, but it will take much longer part time.

2. They can tighten their belt, and do this full time by living on savings and working hard and aggressive for 6 mo-1year, but I don’t recommend that for someone with NO experience. It takes a good year to fully UNDERSTAND the business.

3. They can sign up to be a wholesale customer, and just use the products or services and see what they think. If they like them, they can chose to build part time or full time later.

Those are realistic options.

IF THEY DON’T SEE THIS DON’T – DRAG ANYONE ALONG!

Either people see the future or they won’t. Learn to SORT and not sell. When talking to people, you want to invite those that truly want a future to join you.

If they don’t, then you do NOT want them in your organization. You can NOT drag someone over the finish line. In this business , honesty is EVERYTHING.

There will be many times when you will be faced with situations that require moral decisions. You may find things that perhaps no one will know but you, yet I believe it is best to be honest and fair. We need to raise the standards in this industry and treat others right. Offer to support those you sponsor but NEVER offer to do the work for them.

I am VERY guilty sometimes of doing just that and have learned the hard way. I’ve found that those you do the MOST for will be the ones that hurt you the worst. People have to learn to grow on their own and build their own groups and take responsibility.

As you grow, you will barely have time to accomplish the things you need to do yourself. I think if you are totally honest with those you sign up, you’ll create a stronger team.

Teach people to be INDEPENDENT. Be there for them but teach them to work and grow.

NEEDED NUMBERS TO SUCCEED

One of the flaws I see is just unrealistic expectations. In order to succeed in a big way, you must continue sponsoring and personally sign up many people. No one ever made a 6 or 7 figure income by just sponsoring 2 or 3 people. Most of the HUGE $$$ earners have sponsored (over time) a minimum of 100 or more people personally. There are exceptions to the rule,but that is a realistic number, I’d say. NOW that does NOT happen OVERNIGHT, and it happens ONE person at a time. Success breeds success. With each person you sign up, it becomes easier, and you learn from trial and error.

PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE – Practice makes perfect and you will bet better
and better.

Duplication is critical and key to your success. KEEP IT SIMPLE, the simpler the better. I learned the hard way that you do NOT need to mail out videos, audio’s and tons of material to prospects. I used to do that, NOT ANYMORE. You may think you’re doing a prospect a favor by sending them a huge box of stuff. NOT TRUE. I’ve had people send me a HUGE package on their opportunities, and been very impressed with what they sent. HOWEVER, in the back of my mind, I have thought, WOW this is AWESOME…gee that must have cost them $10 or $20 to send. If I did this with them, I’d have to do the same thing, and then I calculate the cost, and decide it’s too costly. So while impressive, it’s simply NOT duplicable.

These days, I work 90% online. I talk to people, and talk to people, and more people. It’s a sorting process. I’ve met people that tell me how great they are, and I say NEXT. I am looking for people that want to work, help others, and build with us, not people that have to brag and talk. Most of the time those types, are all talk. I say actions speak louder than words, SHOW ME, don’t tell me.

NO one in this industry at any time, has ever succeeded and made it to those big checks by sponsoring only 2 or 3 people personally. It simply does not happen. Be prepared to recruit and teach others how to do the same thing, and your group will grow. Also be prepared to build a customer base and service those customers. A business without customers is a dead business.

Network marketing offers a GREAT future and I fully believe in it. It’s the only business I’ve ever seen where you can take an average person, who invests less than $100 or $200, and their time, and they can rise to incomes only dreamed of. Unfortunately for many, they quit or give up just before they would have made it big. You never know who that next person you talk to may be, or how they may do.

When was the last time you met a millionaire who made it to the top in his spare time and only when he “felt” like working on it?

It usually does not happen…it takes work and effort.

Prosperity and success are a full-time venture. If you want to make your goals, you must plug forward and put forth the effort. If you want this to work, and you want it to succeed, commit to putting forth all your time and effort into this for a MINIMUM of 1-2 years before evaluating where you are.

Just be sure to tell the Truth!

What is Success?

What is success? Think about it.

Success has very little to do with how smart you are or how good you are. Success does not rely on luck. Success is simply developing that winning attitude and putting feet to your dreams. Action is critical. Whatever you believe, is what you will achieve. If you believe you can, you are right.

Still you can believe all you want, but you also have to add action to that belief. If you don’t get started though, and don’t jump into the game, you do not stand a chance of getting there. Today is the first day of the rest of your life. What are you going to choose to do with it?

We all have choices. If I asked, “Do you choose to succeed or fail?”, I doubt many would pick failure. However, by lack of action, and focus, you are picking just that. You have a choice of being a success or a failure. Great achievers will always dream the impossible dream, but they will make the impossible happen. Leaders and winners only accept excellence and press forward moving ahead.

What they find is when they take action to venture where others don’t dare to tread, it becomes easier and easier. The higher they soar, and go, the less competition they find. There are many fabulous opportunities up in high places, but without vision, most are blind to the opportunity.

Take advantage of this. Know what you want and chart your course. Develop a plan and learn to focus on it. If you focus on it and do it, you will accomplish much. While others are sleeping and talking and not doing, take action and soar ahead. Focus. Accept and go for only the best. Take responsibility yourself. No one cares more about you and your dreams than you. Make them happen. You can do it. Go the extra mile, make it happen.

Too often I have people come to me with excuses of why they didn’t do something. Their sponsor didn’t “HELP” them, it was too rainy, it was too cold, it was too sunny, or they would miss the 23rd rerun of some show on TV, so they missed a training call. While it is GREAT if you have a sponsor that is there for you, ultimately your success depends on you, yourself. No one can make you successful, but you.

In my 20 plus years in this industry, I have failed my way through many companies. The sponsors I’ve had that were worth anything were few and far between. Too often, I had HORRIBLE sponsors, that cheated, lied and stole. It was sad, but true. Still NOT one of them could steal my dreams. Not one of them could keep me down and make me fail. Ultimately, I was responsible for me, myself and I. I could have quit and given up many times, but if I had, I would not be here today and I would have missed the dance. I LOVE that song that says you have a choice to sit it out or dance. I choose to dance and no one or anything in the world can stop me. I am totally unstoppable. I am building a solid team of winners, people with much more talent than myself. They, too, are unstoppable because they know where they are going and are not stopping until they get there.

When we all arrive at the top, we will have one HUGE party and celebrate together. Until then, we’re moving forward one day at a time. New people are joining our team daily, and they too have visions and dreams. Some have experience and others do not. Some are already successful in their own right, others are just beginning. They come from all walks of life, all sorts of careers, and yet they all have one thing in common. They are looking for security, looking for a better way, looking to build a business of their own, looking to make the world a better place. I find it fun and challenging to meet them all and I learn as much from them as they do from me, and we are building a solid team. I made up a quote a long time ago, “Teamwork makes the dream work.” It does and it will.

No matter what your dream is, NEVER let anyone or anything stand in the way. Don’t just dream life away, be a participant. Get started with zeal and focus. Focus on where you want to go and nothing can stop you.

Hope to one day see all of you on the beaches of the world as we travel the highway of life together. I love traveling and enjoy visiting with those that have achieved their dreams as well.

Magic Answers

So many people today are looking for magic answers. It’s sad but true; there aren’t any easy answers.

If I asked people what they wanted, most would say they want to be able to do what they want to do when they want to do it. They want money but they don’t want to spend time working. they want the freedom to enjoy life.

Unfortunately there are just no magic answers. To get what you want, takes work. I believe “jobs” are becoming a thing of the past. You will never be rich or free working for someone else. You can’t get there trading hours for dollars. There are only so many hours in the day.

I believe you have to think about and look for alternatives. Everyone must have an income so you have to start with a job….but that does NOT mean you have to stay there for life. Start with a job to pay your bills and get buy. On the side start a part time business and dedicate 10 or so hours a week to growing it little by little. It will take work and effort but it is worth it if you can learn to build something of your own and outgrow that job.

Take all the money you earn from the business and put half back into the business and save the other half, to build a nest egg. Once the business is making more than your job, it’s time to think about changing things up. Put more time into your business and cut back the hours on the job to part time. Do that at LEAST 6-12 months while growing your business further and saving lots more money so you have a nice nest egg built.

If you work this play for 3-5 years, you can eventually work your way out of the job and into independence. It won’t happen over night. It won’t happen unless you are dedicated to sticking with building a business and stay with it long enough to see it through.

I’ve been both places and I have found it can work if you are willing to start a plan and see it through. Today I no longer have a boss and I am able to do things I never thought I could I know if I did it, so can you. Keep the faith, and turn the future into a bright one. It’s not easy but it is worth it.

Where is YOUR focus?

If you want to build a successful business, you must focus. Focus on why you can vs. why you can’t. Focus on the positive things that you want to happen, never the negatives. Nothing will ever be totally perfect, but if you know where you want to go and focus on getting there and stick with it, you will arrive.

What are YOU focused on?

Successful people know what they want and charge forward to get it. Unsuccessful people sit back and wait for someone else to do it for them. Don’t do that. Blaze your own trail, never wait for others to clear a path. Just do it yourself. You are the ONLY one you can depend on.

There is amazing potential in dreams and the cost is free. Dream about what you want and learn to visualize it. Make it clear in your mind, because after all, if you do NOT know what you want, how would you know when you get it? Focus on how you can get it, NOT on why you can’t.

All the best things in life usually come after hard work and effort, and sometimes follow great challenges. Focus on the end result and keep moving forward no matter what and do not let anything interrupt your focus.

Ever hear the saying, “We reap what we sow?” It’s so true. If you do NOT sow seeds and talk to people, sharing your business, you won’t get the results you desire. You can make a difference and move forward if you focus and sow those seeds. When you sow, you grow.

Another thing, in building a team, get rid of the ego. People with big egos never go anywhere. Do NOT be the star. Learn to develop stars. You can make a difference in so many lives if you set your mind to do it. Focus on what you want. Think about it and then replace those thoughts with action. Great dreams and thoughts put together with action can produce results beyond your wildest dreams.

Live life to the fullest. We only go around once, so make the most of it. Sitting around wishing and hoping gets you nowhere. You can watch the action or you can jump in and play. Winners never watch, they do. Winners feel and act like winners. Losers act like losers and make excuses. Learn to be a winner…never make excuses just charge forward.

Become an eagle. Eagles soar to great heights. Eagles are majestic. The Eagle mentality is one committed to total discipline, focus and success. Eagles fly high and lead the way.

Focus on what you want, and go to work and make it happen. You can do it! What you think about will come about.

A couple of blonde men in a pickup drove into a lumberyard.
One of the blonde men walked into the office and asked, “We need
