Health Care

Do you live in the USA? What to you think about the coming health care being forced on us thru Obamacare?

I for one, would prefer to have my doctor determine what’s right for me, not an insurance company and DEFINITELY not the government. It’s time they got back to solving their own problems instead of getting involved in our business.

A friend sent me a website but together by doctors giving us a professional opinion of what’s in store. IF you want to learn the truth they have been hiding from the public click here and watch the video.

There is a lot of good information on this site. It’s an eye opener for sure. If you care about your health feel free to pass this on and let’s team up and get this changed.

Thanks Australia

To Kill an American
You probably missed this in the rush of news, but there was actually a report that someone in Pakistan had published in a newspaper, an offer of a reward to anyone who killed an American, any American.

So an Australian dentist wrote an editorial the following day to let everyone know what an American is . So they would know when they found one. (Good one, mate!!!!)

‘An American is English, or French, or Italian, Irish, German, Spanish , Polish, Russian or Greek. An American may also be Canadian, Mexican, African, Indian, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Australian, Iranian, Asian, or Arab, or Pakistani or Afghan.

An American may also be a Comanche, Cherokee, Osage, Blackfoot, Navaho, Apache, Seminole or one of the many other tribes known as native Americans.

An American is Christian , or he could be Jewish, or Buddhist, or Muslim. In fact, there are more Muslims in America than in Afghanistan . The only difference is that in America they are free to worship as each of them chooses.

An American is also free to believe in no religion.. For that he will answer only to God, not to the government, or to armed thugs claiming to speak for the government and for God.

An American lives in the most prosperous land in the history of the world.
The root of that prosperity can be found in the Declaration of Independence , which recognizes the God given right of each person to the pursuit of happiness.

An American is generous.. Americans have helped out just about every other nation in the world in their time of need, never asking a thing in return.

When Afghanistan was over-run by the Soviet army 20 years ago, Americans came with arms and supplies to enable the people to win back their country!

As of the morning of September 11, Americans had given more than any other nation to the poor in Afghanistan …
The national symbol of America , The Statue of Liberty , welcomes your tired and your poor, the wretched refuse of your teeming shores, the homeless, tempest tossed. These in fact are the people who built America

Some of them were working in the Twin Towers the morning of September 11 , 2001 earning a better life for their families. It’s been told that the World Trade Center victims were from at least 30 different countries, cultures, and first languages, including those that aided and abetted the terrorists.
So you can try to kill an American if you must. Hitler did. So did General Tojo , and Stalin , and Mao Tse-Tung, and other blood-thirsty tyrants in the world.. But, in doing so you would just be killing yourself . Because Americans are not a particular people from a particular place. They are the embodiment of the human spirit of freedom. Everyone who holds to that spirit, everywhere, is an American.

Please keep this going!

Pass this around the World .

Then pass it around again. It says it all, for all of us.

What Are You Thankful For?

Do you ever think about what are YOU thankful for?

I’ve been very thankful for the fact that I have slowly consistently shared Send Out Cards as this is the time in my life when we are at retirement. Retirement normally to most means living on 50% less that you could not have lived on when you were working. Because of SOC, I’ am able to live on my SOC income, as I continue to save the retirement checks my husband receives and build a nest egg. It’s been a blessing.

Here are just a few things I have been able to do because of SOC:
We have been able to donate more money to our church and help be a blessing to others.
We purchased a new car last month for myself and gave my other car with 49,000 miles on it to my son and daughter in law.
We completely remodeled one of our bedrooms, added wood floors in the rooms that still had carpet.
We had some new gutters installed on our home.
We upgraded a bath and a bed room.
We’re doing all the upgrades we ever wanted.
My husband bought a covered trailer to haul his dirt bike.
We’ve taken 2 cruises this year, several other vacations.
We’ve been able to do a lot of traveling both with SOC and to other places of our choice.

Those are a few of the more major things, and all we did and paid for each month. Because of SOC, I am able to enjoy our retirement years and I’m grateful. These are things I’ve done since January this year.

There are 4 months left this year. I have 3 more trips planned, including one to Germany.

All these things are possible because I work and share SOC. I don’t say all this to brag, it’s not my style. I just felt a prompting to share with everyone and give back to others to help them.

Prior to SOC and NWM, we lived paycheck to paycheck. We had no money to do anything. When the car would break down, we would have to go in debt to fix it then work harder to pay off the never ending cycle of debt. It was not fun so I can relate to anyone that is struggling. If you want to get out of that situation, you have to come to the place in your life where you make that decision to do something different.

SOC is a true blessing and I know if I can do this anyone can. It’s so much easier today than when I started. If I can help any one of you in anyway , PLEASE call me. I’m here to help and support you and see that you can reach your goals and dreams no matter what they are.

I want to thank all you great online people, promoting shakes, protein drinks and weight loss products. Over the years, I’ve tried many or most of those products and lost weight. They did work when I stuck to the norm of 2 shakes, one meal a day and lots of exercise.

The only problem I had when I went back to eating normal food 3 times a day I gained all the weight back and then some. I was like a yoyo for years. I went up and down, started and stopped “diets” I was not a gym person so really didn’t like that type of exercise.

Unfortuntely, after I lost weight, I burned out and could not bring myself to live on a diet of shakes forever. Once I went back to eating, the weight came back. I was trapped into a yoyo cycle. From the latest rounds of promotions and challenges I’ve seen online, and on TV, I was inspired to do something about getting off the excess pounds. I have had several health challenges and I knew I needed so lose the weight. Your promotions challenged me to THINK and look at alternatives.

Thank you, thank you, thank you, for inspring me to find another way. Your online challeges inspired me, as I saw so much talk about losing weight. I also saw many awesome looking photos of thin people. The only problem is many of them I knew were already thin before but they were an inspiration to me to get to look like them, so I used the photos you posed as an incentive.

I’m happy to say as of the end of August (90 days after starting my first 90 day challenge to myself) I was down 25 pounds. I was very thrilled with that as I did it my way. My way is a totaly new way of living life FOREVER. I counted the 90 days as you advertised to see what I can do in a 90 day block doing it my way. It worked. Now I’ll see what I can do for a 2nd 90 days.

I do have to admit something to you. I didn’t use those tablets, or weight loss shakes you may have talked about. I looked into those at first, however, I told myself “STOP”. I knew I’d tried that before, and this time I was looking for a weight loss I could maintain for life.

I also am more health conscious since I have some heart problems. I’ve learned to be better at reading labels and studying what I eat. The only shakes I found were loaded with SOY, Whey and many things that were not too healthy for me. So, I found an alternative challenge and lost my weight on my own plan. :))) Since I’m not selling any weight loss products, I have nothing to gain or lose by sharing.

If you want to know how I lost 25 pounds and how I’m doing on my 2nd 90 day challenge which should go thru the holidays, feel free to contact me. Just fill in the form on my blog and I’ll share my secret with you. I also will have NOTHING to gain by sharing with you, so you can feel free to chat with me.

My vision and goal is to lose another 25 pounds by year end, and enjoy the holidays as I do it. Remember, losing weight, building a business, or anything you want to accomplish must start in your own mind first. You make up your mind, set a plan, work that plan and succeed.

There is nothing wrong with doing things your way. The only thing to remember, is you have to decide to do something DIFFERENT that what you are doing now. If you are overweight and know it, and want to lose, what you’re eating now is killing you. You have to be willing to change and know that the change is FOREVER. It’s nothing you start and stop, it’s a lifestyle.

Network Marketing

Are you looking at Network Marketing? Are you wondering if it works or not? I’ve been in the industry now for over 15 years and very thankful I found it.

When I started I was looking out into the future. I was looking at the days when I would retire, and I knew I could not live on social security, nor was I sure it would even be there for me. Today that’s even more critical than ever. I wanted to see the world and do the things I had not been able to do when I was younger. When I raised my children, I stayed home for a number of years and we sacrificed. We were not rich by any means. I used to watch for sales and do the coupon thing to afford to eat….but we were happy and we never lacked having food or shelter.

Today my children are grown, and neither live in my town. I have 5 grandchildren (3 in college) and 2 younger ones. Because of the sacrifices I made early on and the action I took to build an income in the NWM industry, today I can travel and go when I want to. I can visit my grandchildren and see the world. I always wanted to be able to do that, yet until my daughter was 16 I had NEVER even been ON a plane in my life.

I remember once in the early days before “homeland security” that you could go out to the plane and say goodbye to your relatives. My husbands father had been down for a visit and we took him to fly back home. We were at the gate, and I looked out at the planes. Before they boarded I asked the lady at the counter if I could go down and look at the inside of the plane as I was fascinated. They actually let me do that. Try that one today.

When my children got in school, I went to work and got what my parents taught me early on that “good job”. I worked long and hard for about 15 years but burned out with all the house, I worked and living pay check to paycheck. Today those “good jobs” are few and far between.

I shared all this to say, I am very THANKFUL, that I found the industry of Network Marketing. It is a great industry. Don’t let anyone else tell you different.

Are there scams and bad companies in this industry. Of course, like anything else you have to do your due diligence and find the good ones. They are there. Use common sense and find one. Don’t be lured in with promises of riches for “no work”. It takes work and effort to build, but if you put in the time and do that, you can reach your dreams.

I know for sure that if I can build a business, anyone can. I have no special talents. When I started I was extremely shy and rarely spoke to anyone if I didn’t know them well. Network Marketing has changed my life for the better. You become a different person, much happier.

If you will just help enough people get what they want and support them, you can succeed with them. It’s not about you. It’s all about relationships and sharing with others and helping them have a better life as well.

Holiday Time

Do you realize holiday time is around the corner. We’ll soon be seeing Christmas cards, treees, & decorations being sold in stores. It gets earlier and earlier each year.

I remember as a child products for the next holiday didn’t reach the stores until the day after the past holiday. Christmas suppies, cards, gifts, trees, paper all came out the day after Thanksgiving. Today they come out pretty much as soon as childrent go back to school.

I guess they want you to be prepared to spend more more money at holiday time. Why not prepare? Start doing your holiday cards right now. You can create them today with cool family photos. You can set them up in the system to go out when you say.

Take the worry and stress out of your holiday season. Do your cards this month, set them up to send out when you say, and take one less thing off your plate when holiday time really comes around.

I absolutely love Canada. If I would pick a country to live in outside the USA it would be Canada. I would also pick British Columbia because it’s got the mildest climate. It is near the water, so it rarely snows.

We took the White Pass Rail from Alaska into Canada. It was amazing to see miles and miles of mountains and hear how they built this railroad right they the mountains.

We also visited British Columbia. There are tons of things to do and see in British Columbia. They have Stanley Park, which is very unique. There are many open air markets. You can also visit the Butterfly Gardens, as well as Bouchart Gardens. The Gardens are very famous and very unique. There are also wonderful dinner cruises as the city is surrounded by all sorts of water.

We spend a few days in British Columba Canada a few years ago. They have a very unique water taxi that takes you over to Vancouver. In Vancouver they have a lot to do. I forgot the name of it, but there is a tramway that takes you up to the top of a mountain where you can have lunch over looking the city. We did that a few years ago.

In the area you are also close to the cool little town of Victoria. The Canadian people are some of the friendliest in the entire world. IF you’ve never been there, put it on your bucket list and plan a trip. I am sure you’ll greatly enjoy it.
