All Businesses Need Customers

Why is it that some people that choose to build an MLM business, seem to run out and sell everyone on being a distributor? It baffles me. Not everyone will want to be a distributor of any product or service, but many would become your customer if they liked your product. Don’t run off customers by trying to make them sell your product. All businesses need customers.

When you go to shop at any store, do they service you as a customer or do they try to sell you the store and have you open one?

Think about this. What If I wanted to open a retail store? What if I was the first Walmart EVER? I work and build and stock up the store. I open the doores but begin to think how much better it would be if I had a 2nd store accrosse town. So I go off and build store number 2. I get that one stocked and opened and then I start on a 3rd in another city.

I now have 3 stores. Sounds gooe, however, I have NEVER tried to attract any custoemrs. If I never had one customer in any of them, how much money would I make?

A Network Marketing business built right works the same way. It’s about everyone getting a handful of customers that use the products or services. When you’re talking to people, as them what THEY want. If they want to be a customer only, don’t rund them off by twisting their arms to get the to be a distributor.

Look for people that want to make extra income for distributors. Let customers be customers and don’t confuse the two.

Customers are your foundation, so teach everyone to start with customers and you will buld a healthy thriving business over the years. Happy customers are the lifeblood of any business. Give good customer service and they will be a source of many future referrals.

Never ever forget, all businesses need customers to be stable. MLM is no different.

Weight Watchers

I had an old friend from elementary school, catch up with me about a year or so ago. We met for lunch and caught up on old times. It was a lot of fun.

We vowed to stay in touch, and we have met for lunch several times, before she left the state for her 2nd home. She lives in the north 6 or 7 month of the year and then in Florida the rest of the time.

About 2 months ago, we met for lunch again, and I was stunned. She had lost about 25 pounds and was thin and trim. I asked her what she had done to lose all that weight, and she said she went to Weight Watchers.

I thought a little about that, and realized that most people I see that lose weight and keep it off, seem to go to Weight Watchers. I have been there myself over the years, a few times and it does work if you stick with it.

Obviously I didn’t. LOL LOL I guess I’ll give it another try, and I’ll keep you all posted with things I learn. I guess if you want to do anything, you have to stick with it. :))

As The Years Go By The Weight Seems To Creep Up

It seems as the years go by the weight seems to creep up. I wish it didn’t.

I have watched many people go on fad diets, where they give up eating and drink just meal replacement shakes or just give up eating. The main thing I notice, is they dolose weight, but then when they return to normal eating, the weight creeps back on, and then some.

I wish I had an answer for that. I’ve done some of the same type things myself before I realized it is not worth doing anything that you don’t plan to do forever and ever. If you drink meal replacement shakes, do you plan on doing that forever?

If you don’t once you go back to normal foods the weight comes back on. So what do we do about it?

1% Not for real

I had several people tell me my prior post was not for real.

Here is the link they sent me:

I honestly don’t know what to believe as the other link on snopes says it is for real. I guess all of us need to keep a close eye on this and let our voice be heard if we can.

IMPORTANT notice, US government wants more of your $$$$

I thought this was important, so I’m passing it on to you. It’s time we all call our congressmen and let them know we won’t stand for this nonsense. Can you imagine paying your taxes and then having them take another 1% everytime you use your own money.

Subject: HR 4646

Be sure to read entire explanation

Watch for this AFTER November elections; remember this BEFORE you VOTE, in case you think Obama is looking out for your best interest.

A 1% tax on all bank transactions is what HR 4646 calls for.

Do you receive a paycheck, or a retirement check from Social Security or a pension fund and have it direct deposit??

Well guess what … It looks as if Obama wants to tax it 1% !!!

This bill was put forth by Rep. Chaka Fattah (D-PA).

YES, that is 1% tax on all bank transactions – HR 4646, every time it goes in and every time money goes out.

Ask your congressperson to vote NO.

1% tax on all bank transactions ~ HR 4646 – ANOTHER NEW OBAMA TAX SLIPPED IN WHILE WE WERE ASLEEP. Checked this on snopes, it’s true! Check it out yourself ~ HR 4646.

President Obama’s finance team is recommending a one percent (1%) transaction fee (TAX). Obama’s plan is to sneak it in after the November elections to keep it under the radar.

This is a 1% tax on all transactions at any financial institution – banks, credit unions, savings and loans, etc. Any deposit you make, or even a transfer within your own bank from one account to another, will have a 1% tax charged.

If your paycheck or your Social Security or whatever is direct deposit, it will get a 1% tax charged for the transaction.

If your paycheck is $1000, then you will pay Obama $10 just for the privilege of depositing your paycheck in your bank. Even if you hand carry your paycheck or any check in to your bank for a deposit, 1% tax will be charged.

You receive a $5,000 stock dividend from your broker, Obama takes $50 just to allow you to deposit that check in the bank.

If you take $1,000 cash to deposit at your bank, 1% tax will be charged.

Mind you, this is from the man who promised that, if you make under $250,000 per year, you will not see one penny of new tax.

Keep your eyes and ears open, you will be amazed at what you learn about this guy’s under-the-table moves to increase the number of ways you are taxed.

Oh, and by the way, if you receive a refund from the IRS next year and you have it direct deposited or you walk in to deposit that check, you guessed it. You will pay a 1% charge of that money just for putting it in your bank.

Remember, any money, cash, check or whatever, no matter where it came from, you will pay a 1% fee if you put it in the bank.

Some will say, oh well, it’s just 1%. Are you kidding me? It’s a 1% tax increase across the board. Remember, once the tax is there, they can also raise it at will. And if anyone protests, they will just say, “Oh,that’s not really a tax, it’s a user fee”!

Think this is no big deal? Go back and look at the transactions you made from last year’s banking statements. Then add the total of all those transactions and deduct 1%. Still think it’s no big deal?

The following is copied from Snopes:

1. Debt Free America Act•••
Is the U.S.government proposing a 1% tax on debit card usage and/or banking transactions?
…It is true. The bill is HR-4646 introduced by US Rep Peter deFazio D-Oregon and US Senator Tom Harkin D-Iowa. Their plan is to sneak it in after the…
…moved beyond proposing studies and submitted the Debt Free America Act (H.R. 4646), a bill calling for the implementation of a scheme to pay down the…
…[2010] by Rep. Chaka Fattah (D-Pa.). His “Debt Free America Act” (H.R. 4646) would impose a 1 percent “transaction tax” on every financial transaction…

I’m Back!

I’ve been gone for about a month. It’s funny how fast time flies.

I spent 3 weeks in Minnesota. My son-in-law had surgery so I went up to visit and help with the kids. He is doing well.

I was thinking, how lucky & blessed I am for having the freedom to come and go as I please. Not everyone has that same luxury.

Anyway tomorrow is Easter. I want to wish all of you a Happy Easter!
