Flying Blonde

A plane is on its way to Detroit when a blonde woman in economy class gets up and moves into an open seat in the first class section.

The flight attendant watches her do this, and politely informs the woman that she must sit in economy class because that’s the type of ticket she paid for.

The blonde replies, “I’m blonde, I’m beautiful, I’m going to Detroit and I’m staying right here.”

After repeated attempts and no success at convincing the woman to move, the flight attendant goes into the cockpit and informs the pilot and co-piolet that there’s a blonde bimbo sitting in first class who refuses to go back to her proper seat. The co-pilot goes back to the woman and explains why she needs to move, but once again the woman replies by saying, “I’m blonde, I’m beatiful, I’m going to Detroit and I’m staying right here.”

The co-pilot returns to the cockpit and suggests that perhaps they should have the arrival gate call the police and have the woman arrested when they land. The pilot says, “You say she’s blonde? I’ll handle this. I’m married to a blonde. I speak blonde.” He goes back to the woman and whispers quietly in her ear, and she says, “Oh, I’m sorry,” then quickly moves back to her seat in economy class.

The flight attendant and co-pilot are amazed and ask him what he said to get her to move back to economy without causing any fuss.

“I told her first class isn’t going to Detroit.”

Proceed with Caution

If you are offered something “free”, or an ebook because you bought something else, proceed with caution. A lot of times you may buy something online, and the site will offer you some bonuses.

Usually the free bonus, is to capture your contact information, your email or phone number, so they can put you on a list to sell you more and more things.

Having been burned so many times I have learned to be careful and look at all the angels. If I do sign up for something, I have also learned to use a junk email address. There were too many times, I didn’t know better and then got put on a mailing list and buried alive.

It’s always best to take time before making that purchase. Ask around, ask others that bought the same thing. If you insist on signing up for a free bonus, be sure to set up a junk mail address. It’s better to be safe than sorry.

Have you ever put off something and said you will do it “tomorrow”? One thing I’ve noticed is that tomorrow never seems to come.

A better idea is to get things done when they come to mind. Take action and get busy. Things you put off, you will end up putting them off again and again.

Sometimes it’s something easy to do, yet something easy to do is just as easy NOT to do. Don’t put things off. Just take action and get them done. If you do things NOW, you’ll feel so much better.

Just DO IT NOW, as tomorrow will never come. Tomorrow becomes today pretty fast. If you want to build a business, get started today! Don’t make excuses, just do it.

I feel there are way too many drugs in our world today. For every ache and pain we are given a new prescription. You take one drug, and there is a side effect that you need to take to offset that.

I don’t believe in too many drugs, therefore, I’m not quick to take them. I usually look up and try natural alternatives.

I was cleaning out a cabinet this week, and I found and old prescription from 2004. I had no clue what it was so I went to the web to search. I asked for drugs starting with the letter B, and was shocked to find there were 1,419 drugs starting with B.

I was really amazed to think that is only ONE letter out of 26. I think it is time we all stop and question what we are being prescribed and learn the side effects and totally avoid drugs if possible.

That’s my 2 cents for what it’s worth.

Chevrolet Traverse

I was looking for a car with lots of room, and someone suggested I look at a Cheverolet Traverse. The first dealership we visited, we looked a the car, but we couldn’t get anyone to give us any sort of pricing so we left.

A month or so later I was going on a trip, so I rented a Traverse. Unfortuntely, the one they gave me didn’t have very many features. I think the car rental place must have had the bottom of the line.

I found after driving it for a few days, I was not sure I’d like to own one. The gas mileage did not come close to the advertised mileage. Also since it was a low end car, it had cloth seats and they were not too comfortable.

This particular car had very few features. We stopped overnight at a hotel. In the morning, we came out and found we were parked next to a new Oddessy. The people getting in the Oddessy, had a baby with lots of equipment, and tons of luggage. The car really had some great room when they opened the trunk and had a deep wheel well. The Traverse didn’t hold near as much as their car.

Therefore this was a vehicle I ruled out.
